First outing with the Trr8

So took the new Trr8 out for shakedown run. Every round went bang, no suprizes, had a ball. Gun will do its part if you do yours. Had to make a click or two on the sights but that’s expected. All rounds are LAX 38 special FMJ ( don’t remember if new or reman) full size target was 7 yards DA and white targets 10 yards DA. Quite pleased with the gun. Wait for Kramer leather continues. This gun is SPICY with hornady American gunner 158 magnums! Iirc they’re 1500fps! Only shot three of those as I need to conserve them. I’d feel quite confident in carrying HOT 38 specials in this one

I really love mine. It's currently the moat accurate handgun in my household. It came with an action like a cement mixer, but some TK Custom goodness and 5K rounds later, it's pretty decent. In that whole nightmarish one gun scenario it would likely be my choice.

I hope yours grows on you the way mine has on me!

Congratulations on a fine addition to the Family

My TRR8 did not have to grow on me, it was amazing right out of the box

Though I admit the first thing I did was change the grips out

I have no objections to shooting full power Magnums in mine. While it is light for an N-frame, it still weighs in one ounce heavier than a 4" Model 19 or 66

All of my 327s are exceptionally accurate revolvers. I am sure this is in part to the multi-piece tensioned barrel with it's similarities to the Legendary Dan Wesson revolvers

I’ve got a Ruger match champion that has springs in it and
Built on a wensday morning after coffee and a pep rally that is my best shooter. It’s literally a laser beam.. this trr8 is a strong second place in the collection

The TRR8 is a great gun.
I have the R8 version of the 327. And it's a keeper!
