So i posted a before pic, with the cylinder release missing. The after is the right side of the gun.

I need to get it back together after some replacement parts arrive-I launched the bolt spring and plunger off into some far corner of the garage never to be found again.

If your luck is like mine you'll find them before too much longer. On multiple occasions I have located tiny parts in the interim between when the replacement is ordered and when it arrives. I just think of it as ordering ahead for the next time it happens.

So I found some inexpensive walnut combat grips from a company called Mustang. I guess they are "vintage". But for $30, they were a great match for this gun. Plain but attractive, and not as bulky as I thought they'd be. Now I need my new leather to arrive and I will be done fooling with this one. It isn't a project anymore. Looks nice and tidy, great bore, shoots well, and has a smooth pull. Before pics w the pachmayrs.
