Last week I finally got time to head to the range to try out the new rifle, I have an inexpensive reflexive sight on it now and was sighting in at 50 yards from a bench with sandbags. Here is a pic of the final sighting in target, the first 5 shots were to the upper right, adjusted and shot five more while making adjustments with each shot and then the final shot actually hit the bulls eye. These are 1/2 inch rings on the inside of the black circle. So I am happy with the accuracy of this rifle especially since I was just using a reflexive sight that has 4 reticle options and at 50 yards with my eyesight this is pretty accurate

So far the only accessories I have added are the sight, ladder rail cover for the top rail and XTM side rail covers. I will add a foregrip and will probably change the sighting to a NcStar Mark III 6x42 scope as I like really tight precision shooting for target and varmits

It looks like mine. It's a clean setup and I like it (for now).

yes it looks just like yours and maybe I saw yours in prior pics since I got my ideas from this picture thread, I don't plan on adding any accessories for cosmetics just items that are purely functional for what I will use it for. I like a lightweight and clean rifle as well. I will only be using it to target shoot and hunt some varmits so I don't need all the other bells and whistles, which may be fun to have but don't serve my intended use for this rifle. I really don't need all the gear used for fighting gorilla insurgents at night or anything like that and don't plan on using it for any other military purposes. (just joking) I only need the basics.

I will probably put a scope on it that is appropriate for a 22LR (like a 4 or 6 power with a wide field of view), maybe a foregrip and a sling and that's it.

hey did I tell you you have a nice rifle? hahaha

I said the SAME thing... I had no intentions for my rifle other than targets, and vermin. Well now Im at 415-420+ dollars later for accessories lol. But the more you use the rifle, the more the add ons are actually functional, and do make sence to have on the weapon. As they can all transfer over to a AR15. 223. So having them on it helps to get used to the "feel" of a decked out rifle.

So far my add ons are Magpul stock for a better check weld, Bipod for prone shots, green laser for quick fires, flashlight( helped me changed a tire LATE one night/early one morning lol.. as well as spot a racoon out of a tree) XTM covers to protect the rifle's rails, vertical grip for stable shots, Eotech 552..well thats just for me.. but it Is functional lol( not included in the totals of my add ons). And none of them were my intentions to buy as I was like you as in "I dont need that stuff" boy was I wrong lol. Im VERY glad my wife doenst read this forum, and has no clue as to the costs of all the stuff Ive bought for my rifles in total. Even though shes a Dr. Shes STILL a wife.. and as all of us husbands all know if "shes" not into it.. its stuff "we" dont need lol.

Darn it Down range stop teasing me, now you got me thinking of adding more stuff. The light for racoons in the tree makes great sense, after all my name is Nachtjager (which means night hunter in german). I have also considered a bipod already, A hogue grip, a better stock for cheek support, a two point sling using the existing swivel in the rear stock and one on the front of the left hand side rail, and now you went and confirmed my need for all this other stuff, hahaha darn it. I am already spending too much time on the internet looking at accessories and prices. I am sure, like you said, that my intention was just a simple rifle, but I will probably end up with much more. Geeze maybe I will have to buy another one (yes I have even considered that already too!) so I can have one with all the gadgets on and one simple one hahahahaha
Yah Down range this rifle is addicting and all the possibilites are just as addicting too.

LOL,, this is "how it starts". I ALSO thought about a 2nd rifle.. but didnt. As I KNOW I'd just buy stuff for them both lol. And ya I was 100% not going to do anything but a sling.. rail covers and a light. I "wanted" a simple clean rifle.. THIS is what I ened up with.
