Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, grabbed the

dog, and slipped quietly into the garage.

I hooked up the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a

torrential downpour.

The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the

radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad all day..

I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed.

I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and

whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'

My loving wife of 10 years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is

out fishing in that?'

And then the fight started .....

About thirty years ago a friend of mine returned home from a week long fishing trip and complained to his wife that she had not put his pajamas in his suitcase. Well, she said that is because I packed them in your tackle box.

I had a friend who answered the phone and yelled, How should I know? His wife said who was that? He replied, aw, some darn fool thought we was the coast guard. He wanted to know if the coast was clear.

Knew a guy who went on a one week hunting trip to Maine. Upon arriving home his wife asked how the hunting was. He answered "Didn't even get a shot off". Her reply - Didn't think you would. You left your rifle in the corner of the living room. True story.
