Fix Bayonets! Member "Sureshot Bob" hooks me up with a Bayonet for my FR8 Mauser(pic)

I posted the the other day, crowing about my newest acquisition, a Spanish FR8 Mauser chambered in 7.62 caliber. Member "SureshotBob" offered to send me a proper bayonet for the rifle, and bless his heart, he did. Got it yesterday:

It's a neat bayonet with a "Bolo" shape to it, I understand they also fit the Spanish Cetme rifle.

For comparison, here's my Yugoslavian M48 Mauser with bayonet (also chambered in 7.62 caliber, not the normally encountered 8MM):

So, when the call comes to "Fix Bayonets!", I'll be ready....

Bayonets are neat, a must have item for the military rifle collector.

I'm glad to give it to someone that can use it.
I always wanted to get one of the FR8's but never did get one.
That bayonet and another one just like it were sent to me for free when I bought something from S.O.G. years ago.
I've had some health problems over the last few years so it's time to move things along as my wife has no interest in my guns and blades .
I'm glad to pass it on to someone that will care for and enjoy it as I do.
