Fixed sight for the M 60-15

I like my new 60-15 but I can't get used to the adjustable rear sight. C&S makes a mess of drop=in rear sights. Does anyone have any suggestions, and if the C&S is the way to go, which is the one to buy that will handle the front existing sight which is a red ramp.

I don't think the C&S sight will work. I have two and they only fit K,L and N-frames. The J-frame adjustable sight is just a little smaler and has a tinier screw and threads. I wish it would work, or there was another reasonable alternative, as I also have a 60-15 that I would like to convert to a fixed sight for CHL. D&L sports can do the conversion but it permanently modifies the gun and costs $250-350! M. C. Slim

mcslim, I called C&S and you were right. I also called Smith; zip there as well.

There is a leo in Providence with such sights, I'm told, and I have a friend chasing him down for the source. If you are interested, I'll pass the informtion on. No one else seems interested.
