Any one have a source for one? I haven't had any luck finding such a thing. I would like to add a small tactical light for the nightstand gun.

Boy, that is such a super idea. Bet Wal-Mart even has that "firelite modification kit". Perhaps a foot long "maglite" would go good. You can charge up the light & the gun during the day & then lay it on the night table at night. You are brilliant. Could make a million bucks manufacturing those.

I have a LED Lenser model 701203 from Lowes , zip tied to my m-57- 6 inch barrel . It is separated from the barrel by a piece of crepe rubber shaped to fit the contours of the light and bottom and shroud of the barrel .
I have shot it several times and it`s still working fine .
It`s muzzle heavy but i don`t mind that . Anyway for home defense it lights up the target and keeps both hands on the gun . Overall I am quite pleased with the result and it cost practically nothing .
