If pumpkin spice was a good flavoring it would be here year round.
I buy my beef from a local rancher, 1/2 at a time. His daughter is a meat cutter and I get it cut and wrapped. He threw in a package of liver which I will use as catfish bait on the upper Missouri. I smoked a brisket yesterday and through a skinned beef tongue on their as well. My grandson and I loved it. Wife and Granddaughter would not touch it. It is tender, moist and flavorful and just another food. I also get the tail for soup.
I used to claim that we had all eaten tongue in hot dogs but it is over $7 a lb if you can find it.
