Try this from Buffalo Trace.

Candied Bourbon Bacon
Who can resist bacon especially when it is coated with brown sugar caramelized to a sweet lacquer? Plus there's a hint of bourbon and chili for a little kick. Serve it alone or with your favorite vanilla ice-cream.
Serves 6

1 pound sliced bacon, separated into strips (at least 3 strips per person, try not to use thick sliced bacon)
1 cup sucanat* or brown sugar
1 generous teaspoon ground hot pepper or chili like pepperoncini
½ cup (more or less) bourbon
PAM Spray

Preheat oven to 375°.

1. Heat the bourbon in a small pan over high heat. Then bring to a boil and reduce the bourbon to two tablespoons. Brush the bacon with the reduced bourbon on both sides.
2. Line two sheet pans with aluminum foil and spray with PAM. Place the brown sugar and hot pepper and mix well in a shallow dish. Place the bacon slices one at a time in the sugar and pat firmly, turning to coat both sides well. Don't worry if some of the sugar falls off. Remove the bacon from the sugar and place on a sheet pan.
3. Bake on the top rack of the oven for 7 minutes, check to make sure it is browning evenly rotate pan from top to bottom turn and cook for another 5 - 8 minutes. Cook until browned and lacquered.
To test for doneness take a piece of bacon and place on an oiled sheet pan when cool it should be crispy not limp. Remove from the oven and let cool on an oiled sheet pan.
Cooks note: if you use the thick bacon. It takes about 20 minutes to cook. Be careful they burn easily.

Ooh, I will try it. Bacon, bacon seems to be a favorite here we love bacon

Since its me and the misses here only if it's not a dish were the heavy
Bacon grease is required for flavor I been buying the Yoder canned bacon for shtf prepping. But we found out its pre cooked with 40 slices per can. We can nuke it in the microwave to crisp it then have it with eggs. But we still use regular bacon for cooking.

In Iowa they have a Bacon Fest every year in Des Moines. They have about 10,000 tickets and they sell out in about 5 minutes. Something like 20,000 lbs. of the stuff.
I've never been to it, but it's on my Bucket List.

Lady T, B san, y'all are killin' me. Would you dangle a t-bone steak in front of a starvin' dog? would you dangle a cold beer in front of a man dying of thirst in the desert?

Now I gotta go make me a big fat BLT....heavy on the "B". :D

Happy to be of help to you.

Anything with bacon and bourbon is winner even before we taste it.

One of our local taverns offers a German pot roast with brats with Krauth and potatoes I have no clue what alcohol is in it but I left there with a buzz.
The meal just made me want to try other German foods.

I usually play it safe when eating out. But I'm spreading out and trying different foods now.

I make my dogs, bacon & baked beans at my hunting camp. These bacon "baked" dishes are great belly fillers after a day of hunting out in the 10 degree weather. Nothing like good hot food that fills our bellys all night.

Our wives say we go hunting to eat. It's hunting, the bonding of family and friends and awesome food. It's our yearly celebration.
