Agree on the grip angle. This may look hokey, but it works. The gun "for me" does not need a beaver tail. But what it does is changes the grip angle pointing the barrel down where it needs to be. I didn't believe it till I rolled the dice with $8.00. The slip on grip and tail can be had for about $8.00 ea. shipped from the bay. Made a huge difference on mine anyway. Being in Ca. folks tend to keep there older regular capacity guns and find ways to make them better if needed.
