Hi All,

I just got an M&P 15 Sport and am planning on changing out the forward handguard. Is there enough room on the underside of any new railed handguard to attach both a slanted forward grip and a bipod? Or is it pick one or the other? Really pumped to take this thing out to the range!

Thanks,

What rail are you going to go with? Also, have you shot it with the existing hand guard yet? Or, have you shot an AR with a rail? You might surprise yourself and like what you have. As for the AFG, it's a love hate thing. I thought it looked cool so I got one and absolutely hated it. It's on my kid's airsoft rifle now.

I would think there would be enough room theoretically, but you're limited in where you could mount the AFG. You may not like the feel when shouldering the rifle, and not have much room to move it.

I always recommend taking your time and shoot a new rifle for a month or so before buying any accessories. Until you get some trigger time in, you have no idea exactly what you need to make the gun more user friendly. Otherwise, you end up spending money on junk that doesn't work and you can't use.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I really appreciate it. I will put some time in at the range and see how things go before making any decisions on accessories. Thanks again and keep shooting!!
