Kenneth
I looked at one of those Colts just a couple of days ago at a friends gun store.
I liked the way it was set up except for one thing, it does not have a Dust Cover.
I am a big believer in keeping the dust cover closed at all times as it keeps dust/sand, etc out of the upper, and off of the bolt carrier.
I used some sort of AR15/M16 as a work gun for over 23 years, and I shot one at several schools in several states here in the USA. I never used a foward assist, I could "get buy" with out one for sure.
Early on in the M16 development there were several times where the rifle would fire when loading as the bolt was closed.
The primers were made a little harder, and the firing pin was made lighter, and it corrected the problem.
However we used commercial ammo on the Job, so most of the time, if not under duress, I would load the barrel by hand, and ease the bolt foward, as I was many times in places where I did not want the drama associated with a round going off. I could easially push the bolt carrier totally closed with my finger. The first AR I was issued was an actual original Colt full auto AR15, [pre M16] with no bolt assist.
I will also add that I have never personally witnessed a round fire when the bolt was closed while loading in any brand AR, and I have seen many thousands of bolts closed with several thousand AR's, but still, better safe than sorry... You will however most always see a small indent in the primer when chambering a round under recoil spring pressure.
If you are not going to use the New Colt AR as a "truck gun", or ride around with it on an ATV, or use it for the Bad Days, it will probably be fine...
Still for me, I would want a Dust Cover...
