Found some grips - K mostly

After a frustrating few months in trying to find grips for some of my S&Ws at a condition and price that I was comfortable with, I picked up a batch in the last two weeks. A recent purchase of a M19-4 with the numbered magnas in the box with all the paper work lead me to try to get Packy compacs and I found this batch. Hogue Bantams, Packy gripper, Packy compact with exposed back, and the wood grips on the revolver. The emblems are worn smooth – are they Hogue’s?

I also found this batch of square butt grips.

K magnas – one great, the other in process of refinishing, the right panel was black from water staining so I stripped and bleached back to base.

I got sniped on Ebay, outbid on GB, but patience and persistence and blind luck lead me to these grips. I paid a total of $120 for all the grips. Sorry none are for sale – I want them for my Smiths without the proper grips.

Some are really nice take offs
I know rubber was in for a while but........

Besides better get some now before Sebago son has them all

Nice finds. You may discover the search for stocks may parallel, or even exceed, the search for guns they fit .

Those are not Hogue’s - they started out as factory, checkered square butt stocks.
Someone modified the backstrap, removed checkering, and sanded medallions plain......probably an old LEO Custom set.

That's some nice-looking wood. Might be worth installing proper medallions.

Weatherby - the country seems to filter the grips up north to Sebago. You have a great set of grips.

I have been picking up Smiths without the proper grips lately and see them on Ebay/GB.

I found this batch in an old gun store and at table in a recent gunshow.
