I seem to recall Mr Carillo was asked how he survived so many shootouts. His answer was something to the effect that " My front sight has 18 serrations"

Every expert was saying to "focus on the front sight" in a gunfight. Cirillo said in all his gunfights he never remembered seeing his front sight because he was always looking to see where his bullet would go if it went through his target or he missed!

I rec'd a copy from Paul nearly 2 years ago; BTW, he is a gentleman. It was a very captivating read. I have to think back on who I loaned it to and get it back for another look.
