looking for thoughts, 908s and a 6906, neither very collectable rt now, thinking of taking the slide assembly from my 6906 and transferring it to the 908s frame, (rounded top, novak low carry versus plastic sights, metal guide rod), switching the safety lever, ( single sided) and basically making a 3913 ( I like the single stack grip better) and then selling off the leftover pieces. yes I have tried this all already complete with function check, but then returned all parts back to the hosts. just not sure if I want to part out one gun. soooo what say all of you

Doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not a Frankengun kind of guy. :o As the Bam says, if you want a Model 3913 simply buy a Model 3913. Both the Model 908S and the Model 6906 are desirable, easy-to-sell-or-trade 3rd Gens... so I'd say that's your easiest and best solution. :)

I have mixed and matched several S&W 3rd Gens, but only when keeping each and every part and piece so I can restore them back to the OEM glory when and if the need arises. 3rd Gens are like Legos for adults, but start losing pieces and you are suddenly missing out. But as they say "you be you".

thanks for the responses guys,, I really know that I shouldn't do it,, I just needed someone to tell me not to, lol,,
