We have one opening close to me within a week or so. I have never heard of them, does anyone know what they are like? Is the food Good, So-So, or bad? What about prices? I figure we will give them a couple of weeks to get up and going and settled down before we try them.

The burgers are fresh and cooked so the edges are dark and crispy. They're probably not good for you but they are one of my favorite fast food burgers.

The fries man, can't go without mentioning the fries.
very thin cut, which gives them the crispy texture and flavor you forget about.

I love Freddie's! Been a big fan since my first one. The patties are thin so order a double, & the fries...oh,. the wonderful fries! They're great. Just don't order a large fry, as they give you plenty regardless. The prices are about the same as other places. I recommend them.

Go try it out, I think its a pretty good fast food joint. We have a number of them around here (Kansas) since it started in Wichita, KS. Enjoy!

Again, I'll comment that they are one of the best fast food places to eat. The stuff is NOT healthy. You've got to go for a double. The fries are great and they have ice cream in whatever form you want for dessert. Definitely a heart attack lunch if ever there was one. Just don't make it a daily routine and you won't drop dead.

I read articles about healthy eating and I just can't get past the lousy stuff you're supposed to eat to stay "healthy". We have no idea when our time will come and I, for one, plan on enjoying life's pleasures. I'll take this fast food as well as a nice filet mignon covered with melted bleu cheese and all the bad stuff I can get to go along with it.

I've eaten at one in Bryan, TX. With the thin patties, the double is the popular choice. Way better than anything that the Clown, the King, or the antenna ornament have to offer. Good stuff, I wish we had one in Texarkana.

I see all these admonitions about eating 'healthy' in order to have a long life. This seems to be another example of quantity over quality. Within reason, why not enjoy this one-time trip we have called life. No one gets out alive, and it should be a great trip, not one where you worry about another tomorrow at the expense of a great today.

My Grandmother, born in 1886 on a farm in NC, never ate anything in her life that was low-calorie, low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-salt, low-sugar, or any other 'low' you can think up. She lived to be 97, with no sick days that I can remember. She didn't smoke and she fried the majority of what she ate. Her sister, born one year late, ate anything she wanted and smoked until she was 90, and lived to 98.

The conclusion I am suggesting, is that worrying about what you eat and its effects on your later life, is more stressful to your body than eating what you want and like and enjoying your life. Worry and its stress will kill you quicker than any food you can name. SO, don't worry, be happy!

good ... not that that's settled, lets get us some of those Freddie's fries.
You'd be appalled to know how badly the rest violate this staple of Americana after ya see how they still do it right

You can eat hamburgers every day of your life and live to be 90. Of course if you don't have the genes those hamburgers and fries will kill you at 60.

Lifes just one big **** shoot.

There's one out in Victorville, CA that I really like. Like everyone had said, they are excellent and juicy and looking for a good artery in which to harden, but I don't want those last few years rockin' the Depends in a wheel chair anyway! The frozen custard is very good as well.

Never heard of that one however we have had two new Burger Joints open up recently that I never heard of either.

5 Guys & Burger Station.

My Wife still makes the best Burgers so I usually eat them at home. Tried 5 Guys once and it's pretty good as long as you don't analyze what you are eating!
