Free coffee

Back in the day, I worked at the Starbucks of old before it went national while going south. Perks were a free pound of coffee every week and all the coffee drinks we wished while working. I had expressos and lattes and mochas until it ran out my ears. Drank all the various coffees, so great, some not so much. New Guinea pea berry was my favorite. Never cared for the brewed coffee it sold on site. Brewed at home was fine.

living in Seattle all my life, I remember going to the REAL original Starbuck's, and buying bulk loose tea with my mom, when she got coffee beans for her and dad.

The "original" store is not the original Starbuck's office/warehouse/store location.

My family did the "Last drop" and I went to folgers then to the "Hills" for my "Can" coffee.

Later I found that Tasters choice crystals was not bad for a "Fast" cup of joe.

Now it is whole beans, that turns me on and light my "Bulb" !

I've drank many cups of coffee. From gourmet to instant that would do for paint stripper. The very best? Classic Folgers out of an old Stanley thermos with my brother right after a successful hunt. Always tasted mighty fine. RIP Doug. Keep the coffee hot, I'll be along when my chores are through.

At the shop I kept a two pot Bunn runnin'. I never charged anyone. Paper cups, powdered creamer, sugar packets and a fish bowl for the coffee fund.

I used Folgers. No complaints.
