I'm actually from London, U.K; well, Hackney to be precise. I've lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 14 years now.

In April 2011, I bought my first gun. It was a Glock 19, 4th Gen. And here we are April 2014, and I'm buying my second gun, a M&P Shield 9mm.

Weird the timing, no?

I bought it today, and took it to the range today, too. Rather impressive. I only ran 50 rounds through it today, but it still felt good. Initially it felt as if it was hurting my hand. But, after a while it was okay.

Go to the Kennesaw Mtn battle re-enactment - cannons at a half mile or more is a little different from 9mm's at 15 yds, but certain principals remain the same. Cheers . . .

Welcome. The company I work for has a facility in England. One of first things those English blokes want to do when they come over here is shoot a gun. I don't blame them. It's in their blood. My Great Grand Pappy was at Kennesaw Mountain with Lumsden's Battery. He said there were too many Yankees! So they went to Atlanta.
