from one of my students..

great story. this needs to be more mainstream. story's like this not getting out are one of the many problems that can be easily solved. I know you guys have seen those commercial's on t.v, the brinks security ones where someone kicks the front door in while a woman is ither in another room or walking towards the door, and thought the same thing as me. "right here is where she should take a few steps towards the closet and retrieve a pump shotgun from the broom pantry." lol. when my business gets going enough to need advertisement on television, I think I will make one.

again, great story, I will sleep better tonight now.

Bob;
Excellent, you must be justly proud of having helped this young lady defend herself. Congratulations on a job well done.

with your permission, I would like to link this on my website under the wheel gun section, we have a thread about j-frames and I think this story is appropriate for that section.

She's not injured, he's scared witless and can pass along "the fear" to other dirtbags. No medical bills, no lawyer bills, no gore related cleanup costs. Sounds like a good outcome all around. One thing I teach my students is, if they don't have to actually shoot the person, the outcome is much more palatable and less stressful. The gun is a last resort for a host of reasons.

Great outcome, Bob! It is stories like yours that remind me exactly why I became an instructor as well. I am very happy for your student!
