Do you have any food that is frozen, canned, or otherwise packaged that only requires heating? Oven, microwave, pan, or other way prepared, but essentially ready to eat after heating.
Two we have really liked:
Campbell's Slow Kettle Style, Kicking' Crab & Corn Chowder. 15oz. plastic tub that you heat in the microwave for 3:30 min. on 50% power. Two? 1 cup servings per package.
Great for a quick hot lunch.
Delimex Beef Tamales- frozen in a box of 6. 'Shredded' beef in hand wrapped corn husks.
I have had better but they were homemade or in a good restaurant. I have had a lot worse in restaurants, especially chain Mexican restaurants, but to us these are pretty good, unless you are in the S.W. We cook ours by steaming in a rice cooker, and serve with either avocado slices or homemade guacamole for a quick dinner.
We get both at Walmart, but the tamales sometimes are out or not there as with many things in that venue.
