For Sale: A used RCBS A2, from 1968. It is in excellent condition and has the spring loaded ram which allows you to snap in the shell holders and snap them out. No need to worry about a set screw (some have set screws.) 1968 is an important year for the A presses because that was the end of the cast steel presses. In 1969 with the advent of the A3, RCBS went to cast iron for all their presses. Before '69 all of the A's and also the B press were cast steel. This press has a large enough opening for all the large cartridges, if needed. $275 plus shipping and I'll split the freight in the lower 48 of conus. I have two of these and I really only need one so I decided to put this one up for sale. In case you want to verify the cast steel claim or read more about this presses history I am providing a link to the antique reloaders association newsletter with the history of Hollywood and RCBS A's...http://www.rtconnect.net/~wjmanley/ARTCA/ARTCA15.pdf

I am also open to use this to trade against 44 cal spec and mag pistols and 45 ACP and Autorim pistols. Plus cash of course. A 624 4" that is able to confirm being to S&W through the recall would be just about perfect. I am also open to driving anything under 250 miles or so to deliver if need be.
