Update: Sorry for the confusion barrel is actually 6" as originally stated (measured from the forcing cone to barrel end).
I have had several emails and I'm responding now. Thanks for all the interest.
Include in the price: Wood grips and a leather holster.
I have a S&W 629-1 (6" barrel) that I would like to sell. I was told by the second owner that the gun had been shot very little as he knows the original owner. It has a very smooth double action trigger, and a light crisp single action. The bore is in good shape as would be expected from a rarely shot firearm.
I had great hopes for this gun and had every intention of keeping it for the long run. But, the gun has an issue, the cylinder stop got stock in the frame while dry firing, so the cylinder is spinning freely. I have no tools or desire to get in there and fix it. I am willing to take a loss and have the gun go to someone who wants to fix it. I have been told the parts are easily available and relatively inexpensive.
I have described the gun to the best of my abilities. I have not fired a single round through this gun, so I cannot speak to its accuracy. If it wasn't for this one problem, I would have kept this gun for many years as I feel the gun is in great shape.
The price delivered is $650 (postal money order only) from my FFL to your FFL. I will need a valid FFL if you are purchasing this gun.
First "I'll take it" and followed by email.
