Appears 5 dead and 4 injured in FSU Tallahassee shooting around noon today. Apparently 2 shooters, one is dead. Accuracy of report not confirmed.

Everything I've read so far indicates 4 injured, no fatalities, one person in custody, possible others involved. Where did you read the above?

As of now, things are confused and reports are conflicting. latest report is at least six victims. Extent of damage not provided.
All that can be said with confidence is what will be blamed for this senseless tragedy...and it won't be the shooters.

As of 1430 Local, some news reports say there are multiple fatalities, also two or three shooters, one in custody. No news conferences yet announced so everything remains speculative.
As of 1436 L, a wounded shooter is said to be in custody, used a shotgun and handgun.There may be a news conference within an hour.

Said suspect was "neutralized" but not sure if that meant wounded or other. Nor did they say if he was one of six at hospital.

Does the CDC call this a typical Saturday night in Chicago?
Probably left that one in the car because there was a no-guns sign prohibiting guns on campus.
Please pray for these kids. My 18 year old niece was in class across campus from where it happened and my 20 year old daughter didn't have classes today, thank God.

Shooter was the son of a Deputy with Leon County Sheriff, they just reported. Was a student.

Prayers for your daughter and niece and all those affected by this terrifying event. Except for the murderer(s) ……. Don't give a hoot about him/her/them. My family has a long history and association with FSU, passed and future. My grandson will be starting classes there this Fall.

2 dead victims, neither a student. 6 wounded. Shooter was a 20 YO son of a long time female Sheriff's deputy, also killed. All shootings were done using a handgun personally owned by the Deputy. There was a shotgun involved but apparently not used.

The suspect is still alive and invoked his right to remain silent while at the hospital.
That came from the Tallahasee Chief at the press conference.

I note with interest that the shooting Sunday evening in Conway, Arkansas, with 2 dead and 9 wounded didn't make much of a media splash. Have not seen anything here either.
It was off campus near the University of Central Arkansas but may or may not be school related.

Actually, as indicated, the information I provided in my last 2 post came from the press conference given by the Chief and Sheriff for that area.
The Sheriff is the shooter's Mom's boss and the shooter served on the Youth Advisory Council for the SO. I would say if his info wasn't solid he wouldn't be putting it out there.
But I could be wrong.
I live in Arkansas and had not heard about a shooting in Conway. Odd.
I stand by my meme.
Looks like a "party" at a park. Eye witness said 4 guys with ski masks just walked up and started shooting. He was a sketchy looking dude who may have been on some illicit substance, but he said he was only feet away from the shooters. Police say 6 guns involved so it sounds like someone got some return fire down. Over 100 rounds fired. No arrests.

On social media there was an idiot with a Starbucks casually filming while walking by a person down and bloody. Didn't even bother to check on the person. Couldn't be bothered to help but conscious enough to post on X!
