There was a gunshow Sunday ,
It was kinda slow and the first time in a LONG time I didnt go home with a new aquisition but thought I might share some
of the ones that caught my attention to give an idea of the "asking" prices down in this area,
Model 439 ss like new in box but some abrasions in the finish $450.
pre model 10 , 4" barrel 5 screw C 86000 serial with trigger shoe 95% $425.
LNIB 4" Model 28-2 N serial P&R $650.
LNIB 4" Model 19-3 $650
Heavy barrel 10-? 4" blued with original grips $450
Several pre 27's and 27-2's priced over $1000 ,
Lastly there was a NIB 60's vintage unfired Diamondback .22 that was priced at $1800.
I offered $1000 but the lowest they would go was $1400...YOW!
Same guy had a NIB nickel Model 39-2 for $850. double yow.
The best deal was a private sale Nickel Python 4" someone walked in with for $800.
I should have jumped on but he wanted to get a few more estimates...
it sold for for $900 when two buyers got into a bidding war...
Its always fun to go and socialize and look around just sometimes there are no screaming deals,
Or the best deals are brought into the show.
