I'm thinking of having a full flap holster made for my 5" Model 10. It's not a CCW piece but a carry around the farm gun. A buddy said to bring him a picture of what I want and he'll make it.
So help me out. How about some pictures of full flap rigs?
Thanks!

el paso saddelry.....bell charter oak (forum vendor) they made a Sebago for my model 34...works for the model 60 as well

ISPCapt,

Here is a Tex Shoemaker 46K5 flap holster for 5" K-frames that accomodates either fixed or target sights . . . magna or target stocks.

I know yours is for an M&P but . . . if you're having one made . . . you might want to consider a rear target sight shelf/rest. It is a feature of many high quality holsters and works well with either the 5" narrow rib Combat Masterpiece or the 5" Heavy rib K-38 (that some of us refer to as the ISP K-38)

If you want it to work with target stocks it'll have to have a skosh more room than this Shoemaker on the butt end.

Good luck,

Russ

edit to add: if it'll help I'll send you this Shoemaker so your holster maker can take measurements . . . as soon as I get done with clipping pastures next week.

Russ has some good advice and a nice offer to boot.
This is one of my favorite flap holsters, coincidentally made for a 5" M & P. Made by SD Myres, left hand, fully lined, with the logo stamped on the flap.

Thanks for the offer Russ.
What I'm kind of leaning towards is a pancake style with a full flap. The pancake would ride higher cross draw and in close.
I'm just interested in seeing what others have in case someone has a design I haven't thought about.
Appreciate the pictures. Nice rigs.
