Full size M&P9

I got this one at my local pawn shop, $500.00 out the door. Came with the crimson trace grip.

I have recently started looking around at a full-size pistol to keep my carry guns company.

I've been looking a bit at the full size M&P9, and found what looks to be a great price, but I know there are a ton of models. They have both the version with and without the thumb safety, but aside from that - I'm not missing anything am I? I live in Texas, so I'm not looking for one of the 'compliant' variants. Most prices I've seen are $499+.

Free shipping, have to pay FFL fee.

Thanks

The second link you posted is the p/n 209301, which is the same one I got in June. 17-round mags, no safety, and does not have the heavy trigger that is required in MA or CT, I forget which. In other words, if you're looking for a FS 9, it's the one to buy. That's a good price, too.

That's the one I got recently. Pretty happy with it so far.

If you plan on upgrading the sights to night sights you may want to look at the Pro Series in 4.25 inch.
The trigger is much better than stock, night sights, and new back straps that have a more aggressive texture.
I paid $575.00 out the door at my LGS. I would have paid much more had I bought the standard M&P and upgraded it.

I have the standard M&P 9mm full size and I cannot get in the bull's eye area! I can shoot, and am accurate with other handguns. I read up on the barrel issue, per notes in this thread, so I sent an email to S&W. Will see what they say about it. Glad someone brought this to my attention!

And if you ever wan't to do the RAM Reset Assist Mechanism from Apex to improve the reset feel you can't install this feature on most of the thumb safety models

I sent S&W an email this a.m. about my barrel and accuracy issue. This was the reply:

"We would need to get the pistol back to the factory for service. Please send me your full address, phone number and the serial number of the pistol and I will make arrangements to have a prepaid FedEx return label sent out to you for that purpose."

I like that!
