Is Crossbreed the only one to make a super tuck type holster for fullsize 3rd gens? It doesn't look like Comp-tac or Galco King tuk are made for them. Are there any others?

When I was looking for a IWB for my 6906, the Crossbreed is the only one I could find. I've used the Comp-Tac MTAC for other guns and loved it, but due to availability I went with the Crossbreed. I haven't regretted it one iota! It works great, is extremely secure and it stays in place on my belt (which is extremely important to me). I've been very, very happy with mine.

While I do not use plastic guns and own no plastic holsters, I have to admit that, from a design standpoint, these look well thought out and well made. the width of the "wings" certainly goes a long way towards giving a buyer confidence that it will "hold close." The price is a bargain, if they work as well as they look to do.

When I applied for my CCWs, I looked for holsters for my 4006 and pretty much CrossBreed was the only one I found for my 3rd gen. Kind of was sad that no one else offered holsters for the 3rd gen S&W SAs. :(

However, after I ordered my CB holster, I ended up buying a 40Compact, so they were nice enough to change my order midstream so that I could use my CB holster for my 40c instead. I thought that was really cool of them.

I still might order another one for my 4006 anyway because I think the one for my 40c is made really well and does what it's supposed to do. Can't ask for much more than that.

Received it today. Holy cow are these nice. Even with a crappy, half worn out walmart belt it felt good around the house, and no problems sitting.

Ordered it Friday night was here today in the mail, less than a week.
Very happy!
Even conceals better than I thought under a just a polo. Didn't think it would be easy for a 4003.

Here's a pic with my 4003 in it.

Check out Kholster . Same concept, quality product, lower pricing...

Lower by $5 over what I paid for my Theis, that I won't have to cut, as the Theis already has the leather cut just how I wanted it.

Also Kholster don't make one for the 4003, I had already asked them in a email. In fact they don't have ANY third gen S&W's on their list.

Theis has multiple 3rd gen S&W holsters available.

Not a fan of hybrid holsters....you can never go wrong with a Milt Sparks VM-2.

I don't have the patience to wait 6 months for a holster.lol

If you were to place your order today (8/3/2011), the delivery time being quoted on new orders, is 20 to 26 weeks! We are working to bring this down to a more reasonable level.

Update 9/1/2011.

April orders are now fully in production and we expect to have them all shipped in the next few weeks. A few lingering orders left over from March are being completed and due to be shipped during the week following the Labor Day holiday weekend.
