Funny, but Tragic

I get these messages almost daily in my spam. Some are similar (from FBI) and some from Nigeria, miscellaneous lotteries that I've supposedly won etc. I know some people are gullible enough to fall for this but, really? The bad English and grammar alone should be enough to let anyone know it's a scam. But, I would love to get some free money.

Just a casual glance at way too many of the posts on this forum will show to have worse grammar and spelling that the OP!

I owned an apartment complex for 22 years. I had something like 28 to 30 Princes from African nations, some were nobodies, some were Crown princes and had major resources! If you think the financial BUNK we get is bad, I have seen some of what they get! (Still kind of makes me feel warm and fuzzy). :) :) Ivan

I used to have a little fun with this sort of thing. I kept a file of 5 or 6 of these and would respond by stating that although I was unable to comply but the person whose contact info I had attached would be happy to pay for my winnings.

Good Thinking! :)

I used to get a LOT of these usually from Nigeria until I broke down & replied to one. I told them that there was no need to arrange for Western Union transfer etc. as I would be in Lagos on business later that week & would meet them in person to collect my millions in the lobby of my hotel. Silence....... ;)

they're probably still waiting in ambush at your hotel... :)
