Fuzzy Farrant and the 1955 Target....

Those two piece boxes were GREAT for reloading. You put fired brass in one half, drop the deprimed brass in the other, then move on to the next step, swapping the box halves as you go. 'Course the box halves get kinda scuffed up after awhile, so you pitch 'em and use another. :D

Bumped this old thread to the top for comparing to the thread on Mystery Grips in the newer revolver thread.

Gizamo, some things you just have to forgivee. Put some nice non relieved diamond targets on it and then appreciate the small groups you get. She is a keeper and her past bad fortune is not her fault. Treasure her because there aren't many shooters in that kind of condition. She would be welcome at my zip code.

Here's my Colt Detective Spl. with Fuzzy Farrant grips-no mod. to frame.

My 1955 target came with Fuzzy's grip doesn't bother me I did put rosewood targets on been shooting it for 30 years

in this case you didn't even follow your own advice. you knew for two years that it was cut and you bought it anyway. now you're complaining about it being cut???. sorry, but that just don't add up.

I've still got a single set of Farrants from the five or so sets I have owned over the years. A set of J frame round butt grips from 1976. And I believe they were about $30!!

I really liked his grips, but even back then I was very cautious to CUT a frame. So all of mine were for full frame guns.

Many of his grips, especially in the darker and harder woods or checkered, were absolute knock outs!
