If the grips fit, a beautiful and unusual grip thread.

Ahrends

I'm a fan of Ahrends grips, and have a number of them.

I know I'm late to the party but here is my K38 M15-3 Circa 1971-72. Found the Stocks in a bunch of my fathers stuff. They are S/N Matching to the gun.

Allen,
I have obtained some beautiful ivory, stag and wood grips from you, however, my "favorite grips" are the ones in the above photo. Ruger LCP grip didn't make the photo, it was on duty in my right front pocket at the time.

Where can I find X-Frame grips? I would like to put something on my 460. Recently went to a gun show and asked a dealer if he knew of anyone that sells them but he said no. He also remarked that anything but the factory grips would eventually break or crack.

Thanks.

I had Hogue make a custom set for my 8 3/8th in barreled Model 500. They were handsome and really worked well, they allowed the gun to rotate in the hand somewhat like a typical SA revolver and nicely mitigated perceived recoil. Sadly, they cracked under recoil and Hogue later said that they wouldn't build anymore of them.

I later had a set of Herrett's Jordan troopers made for that gun. They didn't work for me, they transmitted the recoil straight back into my wrist and I sold them to a forum member, Ohio Coconut. He's had them for some time and has been very pleased with them.

So, good luck with your search for grips. Don

Any idea where I can get some MOP grips made? I admit that I'm fond of it.

625-3 Model of 1989, Jim Badger grips with Ivory inlay.
And a 625-6 Mountain Gun,.45ACP, Hogue Tulipwood with Fish Scales
Both are round butt conversions.

Ya, after I asked if it was too big, I looked at the time you posted compared to the time I edited the post.
All is good.:)
