If the grips fit, a beautiful and unusual grip thread.

How about some "Orange Crate" K-Frame Footballs?

I rather prefer these Rosewood Diamonds...

WOW!!! So many beautiful and rare grips in this thread!

For aftermarket grips I love highly figured Rosewood. Here is a set on one of my 4" 66 no-dash S&Ws.

S&W 29-2 w/Factory grips. The only grips I haven't replaced.

Ruger New Vaquero w/Factory Rosewood. Not unusual, but much better than the hard rubber grips it came with.

Les Baer Custom Carry w/Esmeralda Cocobolo. My favorite 1911 grips.

S&W 586 w/Hogue Kingwood. Hogue went out of stock on these shortly after I got them.

I am mostly a "Pachmayr Man" but I DO have a few interesting sets of grips:

My old PPC Model 14 with Bomar Rib and Rainey&Thompson grips:

My S&W Model520 with wood, finger groove grips:

My Kimber Ultra CDP II with beautiful Rosewood grips (issue):

The first year in our first house (fifty years ago) money was REALLY tight. My dear wife of fifty-one years bought me a set of carved Indian Elephant Ivory grips for my Colt 1911 for our first Christmas:

This is my long time bullseye gun - a Model 41 S&W with a nice set of grips:

Beautiful guns and grips guys. I'm so jealous. I'd like to find some imitation stag or ivory for my Model 10 10-9 round butt. It's my first revolver and I want some vintage looking grips to go with the tapered barrel. Any suggestions on where to find RB or R to SQ conversions?

Favorites? The presentations that came on this 1968 27-2 feel just right to me. The J frame has Eagle Secret Service boots.

I also really like the way these Spegels and Ahrends feel.
