What a big difference ammo makes! As I noted previously (see 1), I had some trouble with a .25 ACP pistol. It wasn't functioning very well. Then later, I tried a hotter brand of ammo (Italian-made Fiocchi, in the maroon box), and the gun worked very well. Only 1 hiccup in 50 rounds (a failure to fully eject, which could have been caused by me limp-wristing it one-handed). No more jams such as before (usually the rounds double-stuck every 6 rounds or so).

(Note: there are two types of Fiocchi ammo: American-made and Italian-made. It seems that the latter is a little hotter than the average .25 ammo).

If you have a small mouse-gun that isn't working very well, try that Fiocchi ammo, red box.

Fiocchi in 7.65x17 (AKA 32ACP) works well in European guns that choke on US ammo marked 32 ACP in my experience. Strikes me that SAAMI suffers from NIH badly and waters down foreign calibers.

As I mentioned earlier, I tried about every brand of .25 ACP available, finding that the CCI Blazer 50 grain FMJ load was the only one which functioned reliably in my Galesi. But Fiocci was one brand I did not test.
