Gauging intrest for drop in ambi safety

Jon was kind enough to send me one of the prototypes to test fit and function. My Battle Arms Development Bad A** Levers came today so I took a few photos and shot an install video. Assembly was a piece of cake and the new unit performs flawlessly. Can't wait to see the final aluminum piece! I'm on the list!

Without further ado:

Ambi Lever install in S&W 15-22 - YouTube

Good video brett, seems pretty easy to install. My safety got worn down and doesn't work anymore. I think the metal version would be nice. Btw off topic beautiful challenger. I have a black '70s one that I got restored.

.50,

Thanks, install is super easy even in the plastic prototype it went right in. A T6 piece will hold up forever, the plastic does get worn down, I believe the detent used in these, is standard AR15 fare, and as such is pretty "sharp" and cuts into the plastic over the long run.

We wouldn't have that issue with a T6 part!

Thanks for the kudo's on my baby! PM me with photos of your 70's I'd love to check it out!

Hey Jon,
I came over here and made an account JUST to talk about how bad *** this ambi-selector is! I saw Brett248Vista's video on Youtube and he pointed me in this direction. How can I get a prototype of this thing?

SI,

Hey welcome aboard! Glad I was able to wrangle you over to these fine forums from Youtube :)

Hi Scoal Infidel, glad you joined us. I do not have anymore prototypes to send out. However I just finished submitting blueprints to a few local CNC shops. So hopefully after Thanksgiving I can get a production run going.

Count me in for a purchase from the production run.

I joined just to get in on this. I've already got levers, so shoot me an e-mail when you pin down the price. Thanks!

I just purchased a 15-22 and happened on this thread. I will definitely purchase one so that my new rifle can match its big brother!

SI,

Hey welcome aboard! Glad I was able to wrangle you over to these fine forums from Youtube :)

You got some great videos on the 'tube! In fact, I was watching a review of your on the NCStar mark 3 that I actually found one on Craigslist for 85 bucks. I scooped it up on Tuesday afternoon and and (STILL) trying to get it sighted in correctly. It's shooting a bit left, any suggestions?

Best way to sight in is on a bench rest with no side wind. Without match grade ammo you will see some deviation (flyers) which is normal. best thing is to minimize all movement and sight in for 50 or 75 yards.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you an quick update about what is going on with the ambidextrous safety's. I am now working with Battle Arms Development to produce the safety centers and come up with a full drop in kit for the MP15-22.

Thanks
Jon
