My vote is Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Terrible shame.

CO poisoning causes bright red streaks to appear on the bodies of humans and animals. It is easily diagnosed. Tis the season for heating.

It is a difficult thing to have happen to a family. The cases I saw the dogs tried to get near their owners to either protect them or be comforted. Who knows with animal psychology?

RIP Gene you gave is some great memories. My favorite may have been Conspiracy Theory.

Actually had the pleasure to meet the man and shake his hand. Back in 1983 I managed to get pit passes to the 24 Hours of Daytona race. He was a big race fan, so he was there. Also saw Paul Newman, though I did not get a chance to meet him. Awesome watching the race from in the pit area.
