Glock Clone

I have shot the daggers and did not like the grip feel. It has a nice palm swell but still to skinny for me.

I did remove the slide and put it on my g19 frame. That was cool, worked perfectly too. Nice and inexpensive alternative way to get a threaded barrel with an optic cut out.

I've never liked Glocks, but my wife was issued Glocks through her career and had no other authorized options. After all that trigger time with it, she's stayed with the G19 even in retirement. We have had an Advantage Arms .22 conversion for her 19 for years, and last year I decided to just make it a gun. I looked at the Dagger frames, but wasn't convinced they would work well with the AA conversion, so I ended up with a frame from Grit Grips. I prefer it to the standard Glock frames, and IIRC it was ~$125.

I like my RXM more than my Glocks. The grip feels like my Sig P320 Compact and the trigger is nicer than the Glock. And, I don’t have to worry about a Spontaneous discharge.

My Grandson purchase a "Dagger" 9mm Pistol from Palmetto Arms. Ordered the complete Slide and then the complete frame separately. Total investment $200.00. All Glock Gen 3 parts are interchangeably. Fired it at the range this A.M. Weapon is very accurate and trigger is smooth.
I bought a Dagger with an RMR cut with a Holosun 407c and a threaded barrel. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I did clean and lube it when I got it. I have a YHM 9r suppressor on it with the Neilson device and it runs great. I pretty much just use it for that. Just fun to shoot out in my back yard as I live in the country. I wouldn't be afraid to buy another one. I did put some raised suppressor height tritium night sights on it from Ameriglo. I know many people don't like Glocks but I like the fact that I can easily find just about anything for it at a reasonable price. Nuff said.

The Glock Gen 3 patents expired several years ago. Hence the rise of Gen 3 knock offs.

I have a Dagger I’m setting up as a house gun. Green dot, light, linear compensator, 33rd happy stick.

I have a G19 Gen 4 and I like them both. The Dagger grip feels better in the hand and I like the physical trigger better. However the magazine release isn’t my favorite.
The Glock is a Gen 4 without an optic cut or threaded barrel. The Dagger had those so it was easier to set up.

You can even buy a metal partial clone of the 3rd gen Glock, the RIA STK 100. It has a less Glocky grip angle, but still takes Glock mags. Unfortunately, the geometry changes mean that it does not take Glock barrels, but the fire control parts are Glock compatible. I have one, and the recoil is stupid light.
