Glock Glock Glock

I have nothing to add to this thread other than the following post;

Smith and Wesson owners is what Glock owners look up too :D

And so does Latvia, all seven of them. I also found a source that says the US Air Force issues the G19. Anyone know if that's true?

Some pilots use them as a personal defense weapon. There's not a whole lot of room in a fighter cockpit, and the Berettas are all busy getting strapped to a Security Forces officer everyday, so the Air Force procured a few Glock 19s because they're way cheaper than those MP5K's the tactical ninjas probably think the pilots really have. Generally speaking, our pilots don't get shot down, so why spend that kind of money?

Glock!!!

It is amazing how easily one word can send people in this forum into a tissy-fit.

Apparently, perfection evokes jealous envy in some... "Why couldn't the guys at S&W have come up with that idea?" they wonder.

Did I mention I own a pile of Glocks?

Perfection? Did you just imply that your Glock was "perfection"? I think this is an example of the basis for this thread!

I don't mind Glocks...they just aren't for me but "PERFECTION"? Sorry, but that's just plain bias (defined as a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment). Decent gun, no more...no less.

"Polymer" and "Glock" are two of the most disturbing words to a group of 1911 enthusiasts.

:D :D :D :D

I bet a hundred years ago there were old Colt-packing dudes sitting around, looking at the newfangled Smiths with the swing out cylinders, shaking their heads and saying - "These things just ain't got no soul!"

"And just LOOK at this! All you do is pull the trigger. You'll shoot yer foot off!" :D

Glocks are very good on Earth Day after all they are made from recycled milk jugs and polyproplene long johns.

Sorry, I want to know about issue. Not shooting. Did any govt. besides Austria, buy and issue glocks?

Again, Google is your friend... Scroll down to the table... lower half of the page.

This is from Wiki, so like anything on the internet (including internet forums) it usually contains inaccurate info.

Has anybody else ever noticed that no matter what type of gun is being talked about, some Glock owner always chimes in to let you know they have a Glock?
What's you favorite .22 rifle? Glock
How do you repair a 1911? Glock, Glock
What's for dinner? Glock, Glock, Glock

I have not noticed that Glock owners are overly prone to bring the Glock pistol series in conversations related to other guns in general. But, I have noticed that in general Glock pistols seem to be the standard to which all other semi-automatic pistols are compared. Of course there are excellent pistols that are not designed and produced by Glock. I have a RIA 1911 that is outstanding. But in general the Glock design has a well known and received reputation for functional excellence and remarkable durability that is both well earned and well attested in test and end user experience. JMHO. Sincerely. brucev.

I have a Glock 27,,,,but I like my Smiths better! ;)
I let the Glock do all the dirty work,,,,

A Glock is very fine firearm, especially if you're a BRICKLAYER as that BRICK will feel better in your hand, comfy too for you.
