Who here owns a Glock?

Hello, my name is Giz, and I own a Glock... :)

I own more than one. Wearing a Glock 19 right now. Neva know what you might encounter on the internet :)

Not now, & probably never, Glocks feel horrid in my hand. I do own several polymer pistols, Kahr, Sig, & S&W's, though. So I'm not anti-polymer, just definitely anti-Glock.

I hate them, but some of my best friends..............some of the people I know like them. I am sure they are fine, for some people, but they make me throw up a litlle in my mouth.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't there a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy in the forum rules?:)

It has a 2x4 grip, plastic sights, is ugly as sin, and I will never sell it:

Hello. My name is Gil. I own a 5.4" 9 mm G, but I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM! You see, I've never before mentioned it on this forum, it's been years since it came up in conversation, I've forgotten its model number, it remains unfired, I thouroghly scrub my hard drive with disinfectant after each exposure to the G word, and most importantly, I only have it because I won it at a G match!

Well, O.K., I do own 3 others, but they're way back down in a far corner of the safe covered with a thick enough layer of dust to keep them from contaminating good S&Ws, so maybe I do have a teeny weensy little problem, but lets talk about the bigger problems other members have!

I don't love it, I just don't hate it. And to be completely honest, I don't sell any of my guns anymore. But it sure has chewed through a lot of ammo. It shot a whole bunch of lead bullets before someone told me that will blow them up. I guess they were really good lead bullets.

Yep......have several, wife has one, my son's department issues 22's and 23's, he carries a 27 as his back up and off duty carry - his wife has a 26 and my daughter is on the verge of buying her first gun, also a 26.

They are reliable and as accurate as they need to be. Are Glocks better than other platforms? Nope. Are they right for everyone? Nope.

But we own lots of other guns as well, they are no better or worse than Glocks. There......I feel better now.

I gave my Glock 19 to our son, had a G31 stolen in February which I replaced with a G32, own a G17 and two G26's. I am wearing a G26 now. I am a fan of Glock's customer service, it is wonderful. I consider the firearms mere tools. Glocks work, are relatively inexpensive, and are easily replaced.

Nope No Way do I have a 17,19,22,26 and a 30. I've tried to take Pics they just won't show up for some reason:o

Three: two G22's I was issued and later bought and a G27 I carried for a backup gun.

We first got them in 1995, and maybe since I've been handling them for so long they handle/point naturally and easily for me. I often wonder if some of the folks that "hate the way they feel" have really given them a chance.

I picked up a Ruger P95 for a truck gun a couple of weeks ago. Never owned a 9mm or a double action semi-auto pistol. It felt strange the first few times I fired it, but it is settling in nicely now and I have been doing some good work with it.

We are adaptable critters when all is said and done.
