Glocks Anonymous

I own 1, a G17 3rd gen.I bought it new and cant hit the side of a barn with it.Im not sure if its the grip angle or the trigger.

Its the only gun I have that I cant shoot accurately.Im thinking about trading it off for something I can shoot.

Never owned one ever,,shot one once 20yrs ago. One in 45acp but I don't know the model designation. They do what they're designed to do, I give 'em that.

Personally they just don't appeal to me,,I had to draw the line at aluminum frames.
But even the beautiful S&W 39 doesn't handle well for me so a Walther P1 from '64 is the newest innovation I have.

This is my glock. There are many like it, but this one's mine.

I like glocks, great guns, but the m&p is just a better weapon.

But I do plan on owning a 21

*swyped from the evo so excuse any typos*

Was introduced to Glocks when dept. transitioned to semi-autos. The switch was mandatory so no choice. Carried a 17 9mm and later we exchanged for 21 45acp. Still have personally owned 19 9mm (consider it the best all around of the Glocks). All have been 100% reliable, pretty rugged, and, yes, ugly as sin. I consider them as only a tool, and a rather good tool at that. Main drawback is unlike a S&W revolver, they have no soul. Most of my LE career always carried a k-frame revolver (19/66) and still love them above anything else and would be the last handguns I would ever part with. There is just something very special about a nice S&W revolver.

I had a 21 before the Slim Frames came out, and I can tell you that the grip IS the size of a 2X4, and the slide took off quite a bit of skin on the knuckle of my thumb. I don't know how much the Slim Frame helps those problems, but that was enough to tell me that I needed to find a different gun. The M&P 45s have an extended beavertail on the full size guns, and they don't have that stupid lever on the trigger, but they can only hold 10 rounds in the mag. Since you can get a chip mccormick mag that holds 10 rounds for a 1911, and the 1911 will always have the better trigger, I decided not to bother with anything else.

Can't beat a classic blued model 27 with custom stocks. Agencies like G's because they are relatively simple, rugged, hard to "accidentally discharge" (fewer liability lawsuites) and are "cost efficient" (don't break down and last a long time). They are a tool - the model 27 is a piece of art (no G collector association).

Hello, my name is "palmetto99" and own Glocks. I also own Rugers, a Rossi and a Rock Island. I "collect" Smith & Wessons revolvers.

Glock anonymous....?

Attention: to those who dislike, dont own or hate Glocks

Why this behavior ? What is your problem? United we stand or divided we fall. this is just like those who scream about 1911s versus everything else or my AR is better than your AK.

Blah Blah Blah!!!! All of it. I dont criticize what others shoot I am just glad that we still have the right to keep and bear arms and we have protect it and all are other rights!!!! As long as people are safe shooters it doesnt matter what they like. So cut the **** and leave people alone. You are also the type of persons who chase away new shooters from the ranges (public or private).

You jes' ain't got no sensayuma. Glock bashing is fun. Sort of like pushing your little brother off the porch. He hollers so loud and bounces so good.;)

I own a 27, 23, 19, and a 35. I carried the 23 and 35 for duty use for several years. My main carry gun now is a S&W Mid Size 45 so I guess I got over my Glock fling and returned to the fold.

I own several Glocks. They work. They are just ugly and not made for shooting comfort with human hands.

Also, as an investigator, I do not know why law enforcement wants them either other than Glock dang near gives them away. Virtually all ballistics are the same with Glocks. It is often impossible to tell which gun fired which bullet. At a crime scene, I would rather be able to know it was an Officer's gun or someone else's that shot someone.

Anyway, why buy an ugly Glock when you can own a beautiful S&W that is more accurate, better looking and more comfortable to shoot.

I own 2 glock 22's one is modified and the other is stock my wife owns a glock 23 that she loves to carry.

one of my Glock 22 creations. It's been polished and a 2 1/2 pound trigger job done to it,i also took that stupid horn off the trigger guard.
