going price for primers

The last ones I bought about 1 year ago was $35.00 a thousand for Federal. I'm picking up a revolver at my FFL tomorrow and I will ask what the price is now as maybe they went down.

This afternoon, I saw small pistol primers at $33 to $35 per thousand retail. That's up from $30 a month ago.

Here in Western Pa- Pittsburgh/Johnstown region, small pistol primers had dropped to $28-$30 per 1000 in January. They are now back up to $32 to $35 per thousand again, with people hording. I wanted a brick of CCI 500's last week at my favorite shop but he was out because some ***** came in the day of his shipment and purchased all 20 bricks of CCI's. I took federals instead.
