Good 357 mag load for K frames?

Ive had great results with Speers 158gn Gold Dots and 16 gn of H110. A very accurate load and getting around 1300 fps out of a 6 inch bbl.

I am old school and carry 158gr Fed Hydrashok in mine. VERY accurate load. GoldDot 158gr would be my choice if I was to pick a new one.

I tend to shoot medium velocity loads in my #65. I load a 158gr. cast SWC & 6 grs. of unique powder. that gives me right at 1000 fps. also it is very acurate & easy on the gun. also cast bullets dont have to have high velocity to work well.

I shot some Remington 125g JHP's through it, and didnt like the muzzle blast and have heard those are pretty rough on a K frame. So what is a good load? Something in 158g perhaps? Any specific recommendations would be appreciated!

Can't really answer the question... For self defense? For hunting? For target shooting?
