saw this ammo online and in stock. Threw a couple of em in my cart but i have never heard of it. Was wondering if anyone had any experience good or bad with: 22 LR 40 Grain Ammo Optimized for Semi Auto made by Geco in Germany
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Geco is well known for being good reliable ammo. It is made in Germany in the same plant that makes RWS target ammo. Most of the European ammo is quite a bit better than the american made ammos.

Thank you so much for a quick response!! I was so shocked to actually be able to buy some ammo for my brand new15-22. I think a thousand rounds should last a while :D

Geco, used to be our clubs regular cheap ammo stock, until it became hard to get hold of....we then moved to Fiocchi.

Geco is german made and we all know how ruthlessly efficient they are! Through my Anschutz bolt action it was as accurate as any other low cost ammo.

Yeah though...a thousand rounds would see me about two range trips

Not a bad ammo and fairly inexpensive.

You only got the 1 magazine?

That's the only way 1000 will last any amount of time. Lol.

Shoot enjoy and have fun.

Stay safe.

Rob.

i can see a 1000 rounds going quick if i could get out to the open outdoors to have fun. but here at the indoor range they get spooked even with a double tap:rolleyes: got two mags and i was also lucky enough to score 1300 rounds of the federal match. That and tossing the M&P 9mm around should slow the inevitable diminish of the .22:) New gun, New accesories, stockpile of ammo and no time to get out of the city:(

Don't have a 15-22, but just my .22 Compact will burn 2-300 rounds in a range session shared with a 9 or 45.

ammo..I would stay with CCI if you can get it... I shoot stingers and the weapon feed

:)

I would stay with CCI ammo. I use the stingers and the little 22 eats them like candy

I don't shoot much 9mm anymore, but the absolute best store ammo 9mm I ever used was Geco Hexagon 9mm. I have and do use their airgun pellets.
