Bought a m19-3; 2.5 inch blue revolver this morning. $400 out the door
and that included 2 boxes for Blazer 158gr JHP for my wife. (She's
been using a Berreta M9 as a bedside gun but she favors revolvers
and has been after me to get her a good one. She carries a m38 Nickel Airweight)
Anyway, good deal or not?

Yep, I'd say it was a good buy...especially with the ammo, and if the left side looks as good as the right.

A steal on a great revolver!! Have 2 "K" frame snubs and wouldn't part with either.

Congrats!!

Dano,

Welcome to the Forum! That gun (w/o ammo) would be $450 to $500 around these parts. You did just fine. Enjoy that gun - one of the best snubbies S&W ever made.

Thanks everyone. I was an impulse buy and I thought it
was a good buy. Both sides are the same. Blue is great for a gun this old. Not
sure what the age is. S#8K64xxx should put it in the 70's. Just a guess from
what I've read on this forum. My daily carry is a 340PD. It's my wifes and since
I traded her 696, she's been after me to get her another revolver.
Thanks again,
Dano

I just don't understand why I can't get
these kind of deals. It's a great buy and
you are lucky or maybe just good to find
this buy. Don

Dano, good buy. I paid $309 OTD including Tax and TICS for mine. But, that was a fluke. I was there when the original owner traded it in and got $225.00 for it. They logged it and sold it within fifteen minutes. G & A Memphis made $48.68 on the sale after tax and TICS. Mine came with original box, papers and tools but was missing the original grips, it had Pac Signature grips that have since been replaced with Pac American Legend grips until I run across a correct set of factory grips at the right price.
