Good bye for a few day, computer problems, have forced me off the internet

I bought a mac computer on line which won't be delivered for a few days

My old Toshiba is on the way out, I don't know how much longer it will last before it dies so I am going to turn it off an only log on with my cell internet capible phone to check my email once or twice a day till I can get my stuff backed up on the Mac.

PS maybe my spelling will improve, the old computer always made spellig mistakes

Congratulations on the MAC purchase.. I just got one in january, and wonder how I ever used a PC. i still use a PC at work, but there is really no comparison, my opinion of course. You will be pleased.

You will be missed, but please make sure it is a short absence!

by the way, I saved everything important onto a passport portable harddrive when I made the switch. I should have read the instructions and actually charged the internal battery for awhile before trying to save...when i tried to retrieve everything, it was gone forever. saving to a cd can be tricky too. An apple store is able to make the switch for you if you have trouble. Good luck...
