Good Bye - Update in Post 1

I will just say so long to you. We are all sad now and will miss you and remember you. Long time member of this great family and good friend.

I know that we all hope to be lucky enough to have the opportunity to say good bye and thanks for the friendship. I know my time will roll around some day but I can't imagine making this post.

Go in peace and rest well. God bless you.

Yogi, I have thoroughly enjoyed having you as a fellow forum member and will miss you. May the Good Lord accept you in his open arms and ease the pain and suffering of your family, knowing that you have gone on to pave the way for them to meet you later in Heaven. God Bless You and go walk with Jesus knowing that he will look after your family.

I don't have words. This is a recent sunset i caught on the Gulf. Like others have said: "I'll be along shortly." Joe

That you'd reach out to us at this time in your course is an honor to us, and speaks volumes of you as a man -
- paraphrasing Kipling -
"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And—which is more—you are a Man, my son!"

May the Lord grant you peace, and comfort your family.

Years ago, when I first was initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason, I was helping out as a "gopher" at our annual free Christmas Dinner for the underprivileged. I met a really nice man. On my break I sat with him and one of my mentors. My mentor left and I started a conversation with "How are you?". He answered "I'm dying==I have Stage IV liver cancer". I was shocked and mumbled something apologetically. He answered "Oh, it's all right. I just returned from a world cruise with my wife; I have raised 4 outstanding and upstanding children; my son has followed my footsteps and became a Mason; I have done numerous charitable acts as a Freemason to improve the lives of others. I am prepared to meet the Almighty!" I never forgot him!

Four months later, I attended my first Masonic funeral.

Remember: "Virtus junxit; mors non separabit!"

(Those united in virtue will not be separated by Death).

You, sir, are a class act!
