Well folks, this is the end of trail for me.
My kidneys have failed and dialysis doesn't work any more.
I am in a home hospice program. I will go to sleep & never wake up.
I want to tell you all a heart felt Thank You for allowing me to be a member.
I have learned a lot.

It would be too hard for me to affix a "like" on your post. I'm very saddened to learn this news about your condition. My family also had a bad experience with kidney failure. My paternal grandfather died way too early at age 60 back in 1942. I never got to spend any happy years with him, which I will always regret.

I guess no one gets out of this fact - we will all pass on someday. I hope your life's journey into the hereafter will be as painless as possible. We have enjoyed having you here and wish you the best in your epic transition. God bless you and yours. You are in my prayers.

Yogi there is very little I can say to your post is rather heart wrenching.
It may not help but my mother past of the same thing your going through in 2013. When she was in the hospital the last time the staff talked to me saying if they could choose a way to go that would at the top because there is no pain and very little discomfort involved.
As you say Mom just went to sleep and didn't wake.
