GoPro Picatinny Mount - SD40VE

So I'm a video guy by trade. I'm thinking about mounting my GoPro camera on the small picatinny mount under my new SD40ve when I take it out again to the range.

Anybody see any potential issue with this?

I've found some mounts online in 30-40 dollar range, but I could this off with the a picatinny mount that had a 1/4" thread. Anybody know where I can find something simple like that?
