I got a call from my grandson who was in jail and needed bail! I didn't know, 1) I had a grandson. 2) The jail takes gift cards! By the way, my grandson spoke with a broken english accent.

My second "language" is Nonsense and I speak it fluently. Mostly just to people I'm talking too though.

I want to give a heads up to my fellow and sister Keystoners that somebody is trying to spoof using the phone number of the PA Department of Revenue. The Caller ID will say "Revenue." The first time I thought it was a bona fide call and when I answered I got a mechanical message that said I had an outstanding balance (obviously they never saw me walk). The last three years I had an accountant to do my taxes. After thinking a bit, it came to me that all contacts I had that were initiated by the Department of Revenue were by mail. So the next time I got a call from "Revenue" and when I didn't pick up the caller hung up before the answering machine could kick in.

I had a scammer contact me on Facebook messenger while I was eating lunch at work one day
The scammer had made a duplicate account of my mom's page and he contacted me posing as her , he couldn't have known she was my mom as we have different surnames,
My mom has aphasia and is incapable of writing messages - I knew it wasn't her immediately
He was asking me to send him a small amount like $150 or something
I told him no problem , sure I'll send you some money - but didn't you get the 5000 I just sent you ?
I'll send it again if there was some mistake , it is no problem since we are buying a house with cash ! I asked if he needed the 50000 earnest money . I'd send it today !
Just trying to get him really interested lol
When he started to bite , I told him you know what you have to do , I need naked pictures for the money
The scammer said he wouldn't send pics but I told him it was the only way he receive any money
He started getting braver saying if that was the case he wanted 300 , I told him that would require even more intimate photos lol
There is much more detail to the story but it wouldn't fly here
Moments later my phone rang and it was him calling to FaceTime me
I accepted the call , it was a black guy wearing a reflective work vest and he was sitting in a seacan but where in the world I have no idea
He was laughing and giving me the one finger salute
I laughed called him a thief and took the win
