Got my Model 36 from my dealer today and I am very happy with it. Came with the box, but no papers or cleaning tools.

It also has a Safety Inspection Certificate issued to the owner by the Dearborn Hts., Michigan PD in 1969.

in 1902. "Now thats neat" Thanks for the pictures. I bought

"Lou Helen Barno "

His middle name was helen?

If Lou was short for Louise he musta been one tough guy :D

Congrats from a former Buckeye (Steubenville area)! This ancient 36 has been my buddy for 36 years. It's always on my hip inside the HBE Leatherworks Pro TL. Great holster for CC!

Not as pretty as yours but I love it and will never part with it as it was my Mom's gun.

I bought a 36 about a month ago. Mine's a 3" round butt (!?) made back in '73. I love it, it's rapidly moved to the head of my personal list of favorites. I've vowed to bring it plus 25 or so rounds of .38 special with me to the range whenever I shoot and regardless of what anyone else is shooting.

What makes any of you think it was "He"? No gender is mentioned on the card and the name is Lou Helen Stroud Barno. Give you long odds it was "She"!
