Pete, this may sound kinda corny, but everything I do now is more special to me than before! After making it through the surgery and hearing the doctor say it was successful, was a blessing. Things that I took for granted before, I don’t anymore. I can drive friends and family crazy when I tell them that even when you are fighting with someone, it is a blessing. Thinking like this means disagreements never last as long, as long as I am drawing a breath, life is good! Why……because once you are taking ”dirt nap”, fighting is over, making up is over, most things are over. Try it, you’ll like it.

Congrats boykinlp! My dad fought colon cancer for the better part of this past year and passed away recently. It definitely was a tough road to go down, I am glad you caught it early enough and were able to treat against it.
