Got the Itch

Just got the hankering for a new (to me) gun. I love my .44 Specials and realized I had a "hole" in my collection. I have 24's and 624's and all four of the L-frame .44 Spl's, but I didn't have any Model 21's.

Remedied that, with the help of GB, and got this 21-4 nickel. Given the date indicated by the serial number, this would be one of the original 250 nickel 21-4's as indicated in SCSW V (Product Code 150013).

Congrats. I traded for my 21-4 a few years ago and have been very pleased with it. In fact have used it fairly frequently in my ICORE games. Only change besides grips is SDM front sight.

I know from experience that the only way to cure a handgun itch is by massage.....You have to massage the itch with the grip of a just bought new handgun. Gotta check an see if "The Sharks" wanta invest in my new Anti-Itch treatment.

That's a very nice .44 Special, Pizza Bob! I'm far from being an expert, but this is the first time that I've noticed that particular S&W font used for the "Smith & Wesson" on the barrel. Enjoy!
